It is a pleasure to be back, after a 'break in play' brought on by events. And to return in a 'plaguey' season is a strange things, but it is good to be back! My thanks for all the comments and encouragements from all the brethren in toy soldier land.
There have been some interesting developments in these parts with an Interwar Volume nearing completion, and a C17th set of rules being play tested. I hope to tell the story of the great Civil War in Trumptonshire, England, over the coming months... and some of you will be familiar with the place form your childhood days.
For the time being brethren, I hope that you are safe and well and preparing for the Spring - in a truly Shandean fashion...
Glad to hear from you again , Spring is on it's way !
ReplyDeleteSplendid to have you back especially with all these treats ahead to share with us. I will consult my books and maps ready to glean information regarding Trumptonshire. Was Windy Miller a Leveller, captain Snort a Caliver poet and did the boys at the fort survive a long and protracted siege? No doubt these and more will be answered...
ReplyDeleteMany thanks, and there are indeed strange goings on in the Trumptonshire!
ReplyDeleteGood to see that you are still posting. I expect that Hugh, Pugh et al will be in the ranks somewhere.
ReplyDeleteRegards, Chris.
