And how better than to spend the last evening attending Lutheran Vespers at the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, with the glory of JS Bach on the organ, and thence to sip a Rex Bier from the Potsdam Brewery.

ReplyDeleteAlas, even with the Lutheran Vespers to enhance my already sound Lenten discipline - it could not save me from the toy soldiers of Berliner Zinnfiguren - to such an extent it must a remain a state secret lest the full extent of my profligacy be exposed....
